Meet the award-winning stuntwoman, Amanda Foster
Amanda Foster

Amanda Foster has starred in over 250 feature films, television commercials and video productions. She has worked with a host of award winning directors such as Martin Scorsese and Danny Boyle in a number of roles as the stunt double for Beyonce, Whoopi Goldberg, Vivica Fox, Naomie Harris and Nia Long.

Amanda, 50, says of her stunt career:

"It's never too late to stop learning and growing. I have been in the stunt business for over 20 years, but still feel like I am gaining fresh perspectives every day."

It was her fierce determination that led her to become a stuntwoman after discovering that there were no female black stunt performers in the UK. As a single mum of three, she trained tirelessly for six years, fitting in work and training around raising her young family.

When asked about things that she has learnt as a stunt woman, Amanda says:

"I take pride in pushing myself to achieve the best possible results. I have always been very creative and fully believe that age doesn't need to define us. As long as we believe in ourselves and have positive energy, we can overcome all the challenges that come our way. I like to feel totally in control, even in roles that are particularly demanding. Having the best possible skin for my age helps me to get ready for my roles – and in my profession, you have to be prepared for just about anything!"

About her partnership with No7, Amanda says:

"I am really proud to be working with No7 on their latest skincare campaign. It’s so important to me to have the best possible skin for my age and No7 helps me to achieve that. When I'm on set, my skin goes through a lot and I am constantly in and out of make-up – at the end of the day, I need to make sure my skin is properly taken care of."
